On October 30, 2014, a new live-work-play icon emerged on the scene with the opening of Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Built in three phases on top of a red clay mound and remnants of a stalled pre-recession project, Avalon has since blossomed into a renowned model for experience-driven mixed-use development—attracting tours from countless developers and city leaders from around the globe, each hoping to emulate its success.
